Working and Worshiping Together
We are a Christian congregation, working and worshiping together. We believe that each person, created in the image of
God, holds a piece of the truth. Therefore, we need the institution of the church to bring us together to find the whole
truth. We make no claim to spiritual authority or superiority, but respect each person's unique journey toward spiritual
fulfillment. Jesus Crist is the light that illuminates our path. Faith is our energy, worship is our motivation, and mission is
our labor. A complete relationship with our still creating, always loving God is our goal.
We are affiliated with the United Church of Christ, a liberal Protestant denomination descended from the Pilgrims of
Plymouth Colony. Recognized for theological openness and leadership in issues of social justice, the UCC is governed by
democratic principles. Each individual and each local congregation is autonomous with no hierarchal power dictating our
behaviors or beliefs.
We invite you to experience the difference that religious freedom with Christian support can make in your spiritual
journey. We can encourage each other without trying to mold each other to one stereotypical way of being Christian.
