Description: Galen stands about 180 cm tall, with strong but not overly muscular build. His brown, wavy hair is neatly trimmed to the top of his neck. He keeps his face beardless, with a neatly-trimmed moustache no wider than his mouth. He wears a simple tabard of black and green over his mail, and his armor and clothing are both distinctly free of ornamentation, except for a long, green cape that trails to his calves. His gray eyes are ever watchful, and tinged with continual good humor.
How he fights: Galen is highly-focused in combat, not prone to speaking. Honorable and gracious in tournaments, he prefers to save his full fury for true enemies, but is not naive that his opponents will feel the same.
Accomplishments: Cleansed and reclaimed the realm of Chabreux in the name of The Lady. Survived the ill-fated Khemri Campaign of Lady Ardinelle. Successfully defended Chabreux against three separate orc incursions and an Ogre invasion. Chief designer and architect of the castle of Chabreux, laid out the city plan for Chabreux itself. Penned the marginally famous Tactique Gisoreux.
Brief History Being the nephew of Hagen, Galen is not in line for the throne of Gisoreux, but is intensely loyal to his uncle and to Bretonnia at large. Was granted the realm of Guisarde upon his ascension to knight of the realm, where he served faithfully for several years before ceding the realm to a comrade and taking up the quest. His quest led him into the land of Chabreux, a keepless land overrun by beastmen and orcs. He set about singlehandedly cleansing the realm, but was only somewhat successful until The Lady appeared to him, bade him drink from the grail, and named him Protector of Chabreux. He promptly gathered sufficient forces to cleanse the realm, then established his keep and founded the town of Chabreux. He has faithfully fulfilled his commission from The Lady ever since.
